This particular map covers the historic region of Beaujolais, an area which creates some of the best known red wines in the world.

The map is well coloured, with information clearly shown. Major and minor roads are clearly mapped. The different appellations (geographic areas where certain grapes and wines are grown) are shown with different colours. These include the Beaujolais AOC, the Beaujoais Villages AOC and the Beaujolais Crus. Icons show the location of tourist sites such as zoos, parks, wine tastings, trails, points of interest and campsites.

While the legend for the icons is in several languages including English, the rest of the map information is written in French.
