This compact double sided map covers the central part of South Australia, it goes from Streaky Bay in the west to Murray Bridge in the east and then north to Marree, the start of the Birdsville Track.

The scale on the map would have you belive that it's 1:3 200 000, which clearly it isn't, so I have no idea of the scale... somthing better than 1:3 200 000.

The road detail of QPA maps is excellent, showing from major highways all the way down to unsealed roads, old tracks and 4WD only routes. Useful and interesting places are shown in abundance including various attractions, fuel stops, campsites, rest stops and shipwrecks.

Elevation tinting shows the topography. Also included are average monthly temperature and rainfall charts for many areas. The maps are surrounded with illustrations of native flora and fauna.

An index of localities is included as well as a distance chart showing the distance between major towns in kilometres. Intermediate road distances are also shown on most roads.
