This is Volume 2 of the Admiralty Sailing Directions, the long-running series produced by the UK Hydrographic Office to accompany its official nautical charts. It covers the south, south east and east coasts of Australia from Green Cape to Port Jackson, taking in Bass Strait and Tasmania.

It is written for professional mariners and experienced sailors planning a passage through these waters, and is intended to be used alongside, not instead of, the relevant Admiralty charts.
