Inside you will find some 84 maps covering Europe, mostly at 1:1 500 000 scale. The map of Iceland is at 1:3 600 000 scale, with the map of Cyprus is at 1:2 000 000 scale. These maps are extremely useful, with markings and icons helping you to navigate. Roads are clearly shown and distances shown in kilometres. Railway lines are also shown along with ferry routes, airports, places of worship, interesting sites, and national parks.

In the centre is a exhaustive index of localities for all countries, with the contents written in German, English, French, Italian, Dutch, Spanish, Czech, Slovak, Hungarian and Polish.

The rear section of the atlas shows a vast range of city plans. These include the capital cities of all the countries shown. Again the icon system will ensure you find what you need, showing public buildings, pedestrian areas, public transport and public facilities such as police stations and post offices. The last page shows speed limits and emergency numbers.
