From IGN's Decouverte du Monde (Discover the World) series, this Egypt map at 1:1 000 000 features excellent detail. Highways, principal roads and many minor roads are clearly marked out with intermediate road distances shown on most of them. Places of interest or significance are indicated on the map including railways, airports, ruins, national parks, prohibited areas and more.

Topography is shown with relief shading and colouring indicates vegetation. Administrative boundaries and scenic routes are also marked out. The legend is in several languages, including English.

The map includes a very detailed map the capital, Cairo, on the back which indicates various places of interest including museums, theatres, post offices, hospitals, restaurants and some accommodation options. Another small inset shows Thebes, Karnak and Luxor
