This roughly A4 sized map books has two pages for each state, one showing the whole state and the other has a blow up of the metro area with main roads and suburbs. The back page has a small map of Australia and a distance chart showing the distances between major cities and towns in kilometres.

The city maps mark out the locations of plenty of points of interest like airports, campsites, golf courses, boat ramps, winereies, national parks and more. None of the maps are indexed.

Most of the pages are surrounded with illustrations of native flora and fauna.
