Benji and Noola, tiny honey possums living in the south-west corner of Western Australia grow up under the care of Mother Possum.

Soon they leave the comfort of her pouch and learn the dangers of the bush. They learn to feed on nectar and meet the other friendly animals nearby. As spring passes they had grown up and were ready to leave Mother Possum and the banksia grove, learning to be careful of the watchful Masked owl, swooping from the sky.

The summer brought the danger of bushfires, and their world was just blackened earth. Somehow they survived and the first rains brought the plants and their world back to life.
